Coconut Creek, Florida is located just south of Broward County, Florida in Miami. It was once a small fishing village on the shores of the Intracoastal Waterway, which is the main tributary of the Atlantic Ocean. Situated just 37 miles south of Miami, it has a population of over 52,000 in 2020. It is a part of the South Miami-Dade-Broward Metropolitan Area.
