Frameless shower doors require experts to fix compared to framed shower doors. Framed doors come with already fixed frames. Less time is needed to fix them. For frameless doors, holes have to be carefully drilled to hold the clips. 


It is easier to maintain frameless shower doors because water easily flows off them. Framed doors require regular cleaning to keep water from forming at the channels. Water left at the channels for long can cause corrosion.
